How we use it
Your information is used for one purpose: matching you with the right opportunity.
Specifically:
- We review your application and videos to assess fit for roles we're hiring for
- We share your profile and videos with clients (founders) whose roles you're being considered for
- We use your contact details to communicate with you about opportunities and next steps
That's it. We don't sell your data. We don't use your videos for marketing. We don't share your information with anyone beyond the specific client conversations you're part of.
Who sees your information
- Chiefly team — for reviewing and assessing your application
- Specific clients — founders hiring for roles you're being considered for
Your videos and profile are never shared publicly or with clients whose roles you haven't been put forward for.
How long we keep it
We retain your information for as long as it's useful for matching you with opportunities. In practice:
- If you're placed in a role, we keep basic records of the engagement
- If you're not selected or withdraw, your information stays in our system unless you ask us to delete it
- We periodically clean out old data that's no longer relevant
Your choices
You're in control. You can:
- Request access — ask what information we have about you
- Request deletion — ask us to delete your videos and application data
- Withdraw — remove yourself from consideration at any time

Where your data lives
We use third-party tools to collect and store your information (things like video platforms, forms, and email). These providers have their own privacy practices. We choose tools that handle data responsibly, but we're not responsible for their policies.
